Global Branding Firm Given Two Awards of Distinction by Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 13) Addison Whitney, a global branding firm who has developed some of the world’s leading brands, received two honors in recognition for outstanding work at the 2015 Communicator Awards. Addison Whitney took home an Award of Distinction in the Corporate Identity Program category for its work with South State Bank, as well as an Award of Distinction in the Logo Design category with its logo development for Broad Green Pictures.
With over 6,000 entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.
The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.

Addison Whitney worked with South State Bank to help create its new corporate identity following the merger of two of the largest community banks in South Carolina. Addison Whitney teams across the company worked together to develop a comprehensive brand positioning, new corporate name and a complete visual brand identity to articulate the new brand.
Addison Whitney assisted Broad Green Pictures in the creation of a brand that would convey the ideals from which the company was founded. Addison Whitney’s visual branding team brought the new brand to life with the creation of the award-winning logo, which was included across various branded materials for the company.
