The challenge

How do you introduce a groundbreaking therapy all while branding an entirely new division to support it?

This project was more than just bringing a new treatment to market. It was about creating a brand that could carry the weight of new standard in corneal care. The therapy itself was complex, and according to our research and insights, ophthalmologists and corneal surgeons demanded scientific clarity, credibility, and proof. The brand behind the treatment needed to inspire belief, communicate innovation, and reflect the trust CorneaGen had built over decades.

The solution

Inspired by the Greek word for tomorrow, we began by naming the new division Aurion. It signaled a forward-looking brand full of purpose, progress, and possibility. From there, we built a brand identity rooted in clarity and trust, carefully crafted to resonate with an expert audience while still conveying the warmth and vision behind the therapy.

To help educate clinicians on the groundbreaking treatment launched under Aurion,  we developed custom medical illustrations that walked through each step of the procedure. The result was turning scientific complexity into visual clarity to reinforce Aurion’s authority in the space.
